The Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History, Rome, invites early-career postdocs to apply for maximum two-year positions of Scientific Assistant with the Department of Tristan Weddigen starting October 1st, 2025.
Working closely with the Director, Assistants are responsible for overseeing the programming and scholarly activities in one or two of the five research focuses of the Department, the details of which can be found on the institute’s website. Salaries and benefits depend on German and Italian tax and social security law. The department follows the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and therefore encourages applications from underrepresented groups.
