Tools and Development

This project aim to develops a workbench for the enrichment of journal articles, based on standards such as RDF, IIIF, TEI and JATS. The toolset should be used modularly and across disciplines as an add-on to existing OJS (Open Journal System) platforms.

This  pipeline was created to ease the conversion of structured transcriptions (in PAGE XML) into a TEI document, in collaboration with the UZH. It is used to create digital reprint and the base text for critical editions.

Several selections of available data, as curated, are available as data sets on Edmond, the – the Open Research Data Repository of the Max Planck Society.
